I caught this show today, as i was walking around Downtown. I had seen Matsuyama’s work several years back and liked the pieces then, as well as now. He has clearly stepped up his game with the sculptures that relate back to his paintings. The show was impressive and i had to sneak these photos because the gallery was a bit pretentious, but the show was amazing He is clearly one of the more dynamic artist’s working today.

This is happening this weekend, my man Dan is going to be doing this thang at the Yoshi’s, please clear those calenders and make the date.

I spent the day running errands, one of which took me to city hall. a beautiful building full of marble and ornate sculptures. I took a few off the grind and took photos of my trip and favorite images. the rotunda is really amazing in person, and the entire design is a vision from yesteryear.
